Eagles upset by Giants, Cowboys get the W over Washington and take the division

Since the start of the season, a lot of people felt like the NFC East champions would either be the Philadelphia Eales or the Dallas Cowboys. Today, marked the day that a lot was at stake for both teams. The Eagles needed a win and a Cowboys loss to take the division and the Cowboys needed a win to take the division. Outside of the pride and joy of being champions in their division, each team were fighting for seeding. Whoever won the division, would be a second seed, while the other would be a wild-card team in postseason play. Let's see who will have bragging rights in their division.

Eagles bounced by Giants in final regular season game 27-10

The Eagles finished their regular season playing their division rivals in the New York Giants. Early in the first quarter, the Eagles lost their 1,000-yard-wide receiver in A.J. Brown to a knee injury, after he turned the ball over. Philadelphia already had D. Smith and D. Swift resting, due to injuries that they suffered last week. With the loss of Brown, the Eagles' offense struggled to get any productive drives going in the first half and walked into the locker room down 24-0. Philadelphia decided to take Hurts as well as majority of the starters out the game. Hurts finished 7 out of 16 for 55 yards and 1 touchdown. With the backups in for the remainder of the game, the Eagles had a few productive drives but eventually closed out the season in defeat.

Dallas takes care of business and wins division title 38-10

Dak Prescott and crew knew all they had to do was take care of Washington and they would secure the division and grab the second seed in the NFC. Dallas was the favorite with pulling out the victory. For the most part, the first two quarters were competitive between the teams, but Dallas decided to throw some grease into the pan and started getting hot. Prescott hit the kill switch and put the Commanders in the blender. He finished cooking with 279 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 1 pick.
