Prior to the finale of the Padres series, Mookie Betts and a bunch of celebrities had their own celebration for a good cause. Betts and crew were celebrating Juneteenth and what that holiday meant to them.

After the light baseball match, the Dodgers went right to work and faced off against the Padres. Lòs Angeles could not stop Xander Bogaerts, who sprung a homer and had four hits. Outside of that, the Dodgers' offense was halted a bit as the young rookie in Ryan Bergert opened with 4 2/3 scoreless innings. La attempted to come back late and scored three times in the ninth but it was too little too late.
