It has been a long time coming since the future boxing hall of famer Deontay Wilder has gotten not just a victory but a TKO. On Friday, he fought Tyrrell Herndon and was the aggressor from start to finish. In the second round, he hit Herndon with a jab that had him stumbling onto the ropes. Wilder saw a weakness, went for it and got the knock down. Wilder had a second knocked down in th fourth and hit him with a finishing haymaker in the seventh for the TKO, as the refere saw enough.

Some may think this win would boost Wilder's confidence. Which it did, but honestly, he looked gassed in the fourth and his punches did not have that snap and pow that boxers feared. Wilder was very optimistic about his future plans and thanked the fans for coming out to see him fight.
