Demi Lovato's Eating Disorder comedy pilot gets NBC ordered

Los Angeles- Demi Lovato has been very transparent about her eating disorder and have turned her trials into a potential comedy series for NBC.

Since stepping into the limelight, Lovato has talked about different issues that she faced as a child, as well as the music industry. Lovato thought about having a comedy series, in which she brings awareness to eating healthier.

The pilot is called "Hungry" and it is about friends who are in support group to try help them find peace, love, and happiness outside of food.

If the project is greenlit to series, it will mark Lovato's first regular TV role since she starred in Disney Channel's 2009 series Sonny With a Chance.
