Demetrius Andrade defeated Desmond Nicholson in his debut in the super middleweight division

Demetrius Andrade at the opening bell was aggressive and the more physical fighter as he cruised to a unanimous decision victory against Desmond Nicholson. Andrade’s debut at super middleweight 168 lbs went as well as you could script it minus the knockout. Andrade wasted no time imposing his will, dominating NIcholson with uppercuts, straight left hands, combinations, and counter punches. Nicholson could not find the range where he could comfortably execute his gameplan. Nicholson was knock down twice, once in the second round and the other coming in the 10th round.

After his victory, Andrade made his ambitions known as he sets his sights on the best fighters in the division. As of now Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is king of the division and all roads lead to the undisputed champion from Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico.
