For the first time this season, De'Aaron Fox was suited up to start, coming bak from an injury and did not disappoint in his season debut. For the first few minutes, Fox started off slow, attempting to get into rhythm and in syn with his teammates, but exploded late in the second quarter. He was very patient with getting Vitor Wembanyama involved in pick and roll action and did not fore it. You could see how the Spurs gelled and their energy on the defensive side of the floor was very effective,

Let's take to the fourth quarter with under three minutes left in regulation. San Antonio had a seven-point lead, but it disappeared as the Pelicans cut their lead to four. Fox hit a crucial shot late to send the Pelicans packing with a 126-119 loss and ended the night with 24 points.
