Cowboys' secondary was massacred by the Football team 25-3

Dallas- Cowboys could not get the Washington Football team on third down conversions and suffered another disappointing loss, 25-3.

Dallas looked like they had a little bit of momentum after their defense had a huge fourth and goal stop against the Washington Football Team early in the first quarter. However, two plays later, Andy Dalton fumbled the ball and it was recovered in the endzone by the Cowboys. The Football Team was awarded with the safety. A couple plays later, the defense allowed Antonio Gibson to run for a 12- yard touchdown sprint. Dallas tacked of a field goal late in the first to cut Washington's lead to six, 9-3.

The Cowboys' secondary had a lot of mistakes and miscommunication issues in the first half. For some strange reason, the Cowboys allowed Terry McLaurin to beat them down the field for a 52-yard touchdown to extend Washington's lead 15-3. Washington scored another touchdown before the half to go up 22-3.

In the second half, the Cowboys offensive line was getting tortured by the Football team's defensive front. Dalton was getting rushed, sacked, and could not get in rhythm to get his team a chance to get back in the game. Since the Cowboys were down a couple of scores, they went away from the run and tried to get the ball down the field. That did not work, because Washington was all over it. Dallas' offense was shut out in the second half and the Football Team rolled to a 25-3 victory.
