Prior to tipoff, the NBA announced that Victor Wembanyama was going to sit this game out due to an ankle injury. You would think that would give the Clippers an edge to somehow pull out a victory, but that was not the case.

Kawhi Leonard was consistent per usual as he finished with 24 points, 5 dimes and 6 boards, but his teammates had trouble putting the ball in the basket. The inconsistency of Darius Garland showed its head again as he struggled to get anything going. Garland finished with 11 points.

The game for the first half was pretty much competitive and close, however, LA allowed five players from the Spurs to score in double figures to put the game out of reach,

After the game, Coach Lou talked about what the Clippers need to improve on; he stated that they have to find ways to get easier shots for their teammates and not take one on one contestant shots as well as be active on the defensive side of the ball. With only a few games left in the regular season, it seems like the Clippers need to find some type of spark plug to get a charge out of this team.
