Clippers get the go-ahead bucket to win against Portland

Clippers squeeze out a 101-99 victory in the final seconds of their preseason contest against the new look LA Clippers.  Both teams were without their rotational players and the notable players sat most of the second half. Novice NBA Fans wouldn’t have recognized either team at times.

Clipper scoring was highlighted by several in traffic dunks by Kai Jones, and a spectacular full length of the court pass from Harden to Bones Hyland.  Harden played 18 minutes scoring 14 points, Bones Hyland played 18 minutes scoring 14, points, Jordan Miller played 28 minutes scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.  Kai Jones racked up the most minutes for the Clippers, playing 29 minutes, scoring 8 points, collecting 6 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists.  The Clips leading scorer was Derrick Jones.  He scored 16 points in 21 minutes.  Next up is Dallas.  It's just preseason, however Clipper Fans are chomping at the bit to see what the new look Clippers have up their sleeves this regular season.
