Cleveland Browns have reduced their roster to 53
The Cleveland Browns have trimmed their active roster to the required 53 set by the NFL. Notable players that have been waived included Sam Kamara DE, Austin Watkins Jr. WR, Cade York K, and Jaelon Darden WR.
The Browns will carry two quarterbacks this season that will include starter Deshaun Watson and Dorian Thompson-Robinson (R). Running backs will be led by Nick Chubb, Jerome Ford, Pierre Strong Jr. The wide receiver position has a chance to be a top AFC North receiver corp. with David Bell, Amari Cooper, Marquise Goodwin, Elijah Moore, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cedric Tillman. Cleveland will carry 9 offensive linemen and 9 defensive linemen. The linebackers will include Matthew Adams, Mohamoud Diabate, Jordan Kunaszyk, Tony Fields II, Sione Takitaki to total seven linebackers. Browns will also total 11 defensive backs including D’Anthony Bell, A.J. Green, Rodney McLeod, Denzel Ward, Greg Newsome II.
