Chargers blew past the Lions 34-7

If you are a football fan, you were happy that the Hall of Fame game kicked off tonight, starting the season of football. The two teams that were involved in this prestigious affair were the Los Angeles Chargers and the Detroit Lions. The build up towards the week of the game was very thrilling, while the outcome was a blowout.
The Chargers had a few bright spots with their victory, and it started with both of their back-ups, competing for the second-string position. Trey Lance put on a show, finishing 13/20 for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns. At one point in the game, he wowed the crowd with a pass that was thrown in a tight window for a 25-yard pass and catch. In the fourth quarter, DJ Uiagalelei showed his skills and went 2/3 for 25 yards.
Another bright spot for the Chargers was their ability to have running backs that were decisive after hands off and gashed the Lions for some decent gains. LA had three running backs who had over 30 yards in limited minutes. Now on the other side of the ball, the Chargers defense forced 3 picks, Kyle Allen was held to 91 yards through the air. Even though it's preseason, the Chargers hve something special brewing.
