Bengals continue to win when it matters, defeating Vikings 27-24 in a thriller

With 10 points scored in the first half between both teams, it looked like they had left their offense at the hotel. But man did the fireworks fly in the second half of this game with 41 points combined it was an action-packed game second half.

Trailing 17-3 late in the third quarter behind an offense that struggled to move the ball, the Bengals needed Jake Browning to be nearly flawless — and he was. Browning led Cincinnati to three fourth-quarter touchdowns and directed the winning drive-in overtime in his latest extraordinary performance since taking over for Joe Burrow. The Bengals beat the Minnesota Vikings 27-24 on Saturday to improve their playoff position. Browning won his third straight start and improved to 3-1.

With Ja'Marr Chase leaving the game in the 4th quarter Tee Higgings stepped up tremendously with the play of the game as went high over a Vikings defender to catch a 16-yard pass from Browning and make a twisting move at the goal line for the tying touchdown with 39 seconds left in regulation. Then, in overtime, Browning found Tyler Boyd for a 44-yard bullet to put the Bengals into field goal range. Evan McPherson called the game and nailed it.

When asked about the game Browning simply said, "I feel like I need a beer."

With the way Browning has played since he took over for the injured Joe Burrow the Bengals are in a prime position to make the playoffs and make some noise when they get there. This isn’t the JB Cincy is used to, but I bet they are not complaining
