It was WWE weekend in Toronto Canada this weekend. With yesterday’s Money in the Bank in the books the WWE shift gears to NXT Heatwave as the guys and gals of the infamous yellow brand look to put on a show to close out a fantastic weekend in Canada.

Arianna Grace & Karmen Petrovic vs. Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx- Toronto Canada’s own Grace and Petrovich opened the show in fitting fashion. The heels of Jayne and Nix tried to work Petrovic over. Eventually Grace gets the hot tag and lands a few shoulder blocks. Grace lands a Jumping knee and  Hart Attack... JAZMYN BREAKS IT UP! A big knee almost takes Karmen out, Arianna breaks it up. The ending of the match saw Grace land an O”Connor roll. Later in the show a backstage altercation between the winning team saw Grace take credit for the teams win and Ava the NXT general manager scheduled a match between the two partners.

Oba Femi (c) vs. Wes Lee (NXT North American Championship)- The stipulation of this  match was simple: if Wes Lee loses he’ll never get a shot at the NXT North American Championship again as long as Femi is champion. Lee came out on fire landing great and exciting aerial moves. As Lee gained momentum Femi blasts him with a huge palm strike! Big Rock Bottom backbreaker into the backbreaker. After Lee recovers he dives on Femi. Hits a back springboard, Meteora. Lee rolls through, sunset flip blocked but he reverses the powerbomb into a Hurricanrana... NOT ENOUGH! Big uppercut from the champion... LEE KICKS OUT! Lee hits the Cardiac Kick. STILL NO. Lee fought for his life but it was not enough as the power of Femi was too much.

Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Sol Ruca (NXT Women’s North American Championship)- The two take turns trying to take one another down and locking in different submissions on one another before Jordan delivers a crossbody to Ruca out of the corner. Ruca lands a drop toe hold on Jordan, but Jordan responds with a low crossbody. Ruca delivers a facebuster to Jordan, then locks in a Bow and Arrow on her. Ruca and Jordan take turns unsuccessfully pinning one another before Ruca delivers a powerbomb to Jordan.. Ruca gets Jordan in an electric chair position, and Jordan looks to escape. Ruca hangs on to her and catapults her into the corner, then ascends to the top with her still in an electric chair position. Jordan delivers a poisionrana to Ruca, then follows it up with a split legged moonsault for the win.

Axiom & Nathan Frazer (c) vs. Chase U (Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) (NXT Tag Team Championship)- Axiom and Andre Chase begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. The match had tons of back and forth action that had the crowd on their feet. Chase dumps Frazer out of the ring and looks to send Axiom crashing into the mat. Frazer tags in and looks to fly off the top rope, but Chase sees him coming and ascends up the top rope. Frazer joins him up there and delivers a superplex to him. Axiom tags in and double teams on Chase with Frazer. Frazer flies over the top rope to level Hudson on the outside, and Axiom connects with the Golden Ratio on Chase inside the ring for the win.

Lola Vice vs. Roxanne Perez (c) (NXT Women’s Championship)- The heat of the action happened when Vice delivered a series of rapid fire kicks to Perez's thighs, then connected with a Hip Attack and a scissor kick. Vice lands a right hand on Perez's midsection, but Perez lands an uppercut. Perez dumps Vice out of the ring and clears the announce desk. She gets Vice on top of it and delivers Pop Rox to her. She dumps her back in the ring and goes for a pin, but Vice somehow manages to kick out. Perez rains down Hammer and Anvil elbows on Vice's arm and locks in a crossface, then delivers three Pop Rox to her for the win.

“All Ego” Ethan Page vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Shawn Spears vs. Trick Williams (c) (NXT Championship)- This match had so much back and forth action it made your head spin. The ending of the match was such a shock. Williams looks to take down Spears, but Spears sees him coming and locks in a Sharpshooter. Page breaks the hold, then delivers Ego's Edge to Williams and goes for a pin. Evans breaks the fall by getting Williams' foot on the bottom rope. Page drags Evans into the ring and lands down striking right hands on him. He looks to land Ego's Edge on Evans, but Spears pulls Evans down. Williams then levels Spears and Evans with the Trick Shot, then hits one on Page. Page falls on top of Evans to pin him, and the referee completes the three count before Williams can break the fall. Spears had a hold of Williams' leg on the outside.  Williams was devastated and angry on the outside watching Page celebrate the victory. Williams was never pinned and still lost his belt.
