After a slow start, Brock Purdy started putting drives together, which resulted in touchdowns after settling for field goals in the first half. He spreaded the ball to eight different players which kept the Jaguars at bay.

Let's take you to the fourth quarter. Down by a 13, Purdy threw a dart to Jake Tonges for a touchdown to cut the lead to six. The 9ers caught a huge break as Cam Little missed a 47-yard field goal attempt to extend the Jags' lead. You would think that the 9ers would capitalize off the great field position, but Purdy fumbled the ball on the ensuing possession. With under two minutes left in regulation and the 49ers needing a stop, Trevor Lawrence hit Hunter Long for an eight-yard pass to call game. Purdy finished the game with 309 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 picks.
