2024 iHeart Podcast Award Nominees announced

The 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards presented by The Hartford categories and Icon Award honorees were announced today.  The awards will be presented live at the SXSW event on Marh 11th in Austin, TX.  They will be broadcasted on iHeartMedia radio stations and streamed on YouTube.  The nominees for Podcast of the Year include: “Crime Junkie,” “The Daily,” “My favorite Murder,” “New Heights,” “Normal Gossip,” “On Purpose with Jay Shetty,” “The Retrievals,” “Scamanda,” “SmartLess,” and “Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.”

In addition, Maggie Freleng and Jason Flom of “Wrongful Conviction” and Jonathan Goldstein of “Heavyweight” to be honored with Icon Awards, and “Rotten Mango” as the recipient of the Innovator Award presented by YouTube. 

The Best Sports Podcast nominees include: “Around The NFL,” “Club Shay Shay,” “The Dan Le Batard Show,” “New Heights,” “Pardon My Take.”
