Seiko Hashimoto will have to decide this month if they will allow foreign fans at the games

Tokyo- President of the Olympics committee Seiko Hashimoto will have her hands filled, as she decides if foreign fans can attend the Olympic games.

There has been a lot of criticism among citizens around the globe, asking Hashimoto why are they still going to go through with the Olympics during the pandemic. Hashinmoto has responded to the criticism as well as she could by repeating that her and her committee will make the games safe for everyone.

This month, Hashinmoto has to make the big decision, if foreign fans can attend the games or will they be left watching the games from home. Bach, International Paralympic Committee president Andrew Parsons, Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike and Olympic minister Tamayo Marukawa.had this to say on a media conference call.

"We will focus on the essentials,'' Bach said. "That means mainly the competitions. This has to be the clear focus. In this respect we may have to set one or another priority."

It is unclear, if any type of fans will be admitted during the games, but the Olympic committee and everyone involved is trying to figure out the best way to move forward. For right now, the Olympic games will start July 23.
