Review of opening night for The Marriage of Figaro Opera show

Seattle, WA- Opening night for the thrilling Opera show The Marriage of Figaro was a sight to see and hear.

For the first time since the pandemic happened, the McCaw Hall opened its doors to a large crowd for the anticipated viewing of the classic The Marriage of Figaro. Prior to the show, the staff operating at the McCaw Hall made guests aware of their guidelines. Guests were required to show their vaccination card, as well as wear face coverings. In the main lobby, guests could indulge in conversation with others, as well as drink or eat snacks.

At 7:30 PM, the show started. The show started out very fast, but settled down within an hour of watching. The actors and actresses had great chemistry and kept guests laughing with witty one-liners. The show had a lot of topics that are very relevant to this day, like gender roles, women equality, and social status, which gave room for thoughtful conversations. The performances were great for the opening night for this show.

The show will have more performances May 8, 11, 14, 15, 18, 20, 21 and 22.
