Naomi Osaka will expand her academy to Los Angeles and Haiti

Los Angeles- Tennis sensation Naomi Osaka has decided to expand her academy Play Academy to Los Angeles and Haiti.

Earlier this week, Osaka announced that she will be expanding her academy locations to Los Angeles and Haiti. Osaka felt like it was a good idea to spread the wealth of what her academy is about. Play Academy is an academy that focuses on women empowerment and gives more women opportunities the chance to participate in sports.

The Play Academy in Haiti have partnered with GOALS Haiti. Their mission is to “hire more female coaches, and provide girls with education to help build up their confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills.” “We believe that all kids, especially girls deserve a chance to play, no matter where they come from or what they look like,” said Osaka. “The more we provide girls with opportunities to get active, the more opportunities we are giving them to become leaders in their communities.”
