Lilly Gladstone breaks Golden Globe History

Actress Lilly Gladstone shocked the world as she was recognized and honored with a Golden Globe for her performance in the Killers of the Flower Moon.

With Gladstone's win, she broke history with being the First Indigenous Actor to win a Golden Globe and used her platform to give a message to everyone. This is for every little res kid, every little urban kid, every little Native kid out there who has a dream, who is seeing themselves represented and our stories told by ourselves, in our own words, with tremendous allies and tremendous trust with each other."

Gladston played the character Mollie Burkhart, who was a loyal wife, but lost her family to the "White Man' for different reasons. Gladston's performance shed light on the indigenous culture, but also had a message about progression, mixed in with racial history.
