Dr. Anthony Fauci and Glenn Close will be honored during amfAR virtual gala event

Los Angeles- During the 2021 amfAR virtual gala event, Dr. Anthony Fauci and Glenn Close will be recognized for their efforts fighting and finding solutions for the COVID-19 virus.

Since it is prohibited to gather in large groups, amfAR had decided to do something unique and have a virtual gala event to celebrate Fauci and Close. Usually the amfAR gala event shines their spotlight on finding a cure for HIV, but they have expanded and wanted to help any way that they can to develop treatments to potential stop the spread of the virus.

The virtual gala will be open to fans and will be free. Attendees can see the virtual gala event Thursday, March 4 at 4PM, PT and the link to the stream is ww.amfarvirtualgala.org
