Denver hangs on to win Game 1

After blowing a 20 point lead to the Los Angeles Lakers, Jamal Murray saves day the day with a steal to seal the victory for the Nuggets.

Nikola Jokic showed the world why he was in conversations of being the greatest big man in NBA history. From assisting to shooting three point shots, the Joker had it going and helped his team build up a 20 point lead against the Lakers. You would have thought the game was getting out of hand at the start of the fourth, but LeBron James and crew kept knocking down shots.

James had the opportunity to either tie the game up or cut the Nuggets' lead to one with under .30 seconds left in regulation. Murray came up big as he stole the ball, trapping James and the Nuggets went on to take Game 1, 132-126.

Jokic finished with 34 points and 21 rebounds
