Boston drops Game 4 and will have to dig themselves out of a 3-1 hole in the series

Orlando- The Boston Celtics dug themselves in a huge hole in the series, as the Miami Heat defeats Boston 112-109 to go up 3-1 in the series.



Boston had a lackluster night, as the energy was not there for the Boston Celtics. Marcus Smart and Jayson Tatum struggled to get anything to drop in the first half. Both players had careless turnovers and was not effective on the defensive end. After being down down double digits for majority of the game, the Celtics put together a 10-4 run to cut the Heat's lead to single digits late in the third quarter. Jaylen Brown and Gordan Hayward had productive minutes in the quarter, as both players made their presence felt on both sides of the ball. Hayward had a few blocks that sprung a couple of fast break points for the Celtics. Boston went on a 10-5 run to close out the quarter.


The Celtics came back roaring, as Tatum and Hayward hit some big shots early in the fourth to take the lead. However, Miami's Tyler Herro was the Celtics' nightmare, as he was putting on a show. Herro was playing all around the world with the Celtics. Boston had no answer with stopping Herro, so they had to double him. Too many turnovers cost the Celtics the game, as they dropped Game 4 .The Celtics had 15 turnovers, which lead to 10 fastbreak points for the Heat.


Tatum finished the game with 28 points, 4 assists, and 9 rebounds

Brown finished the game with 21 points, 2, and 9 rebounds.


Heat


Herro finished the game with 37 points, 3 assists, and 6 rebounds.
